Unit Plan

Honoring the Ordinary

Students will deeply investigate a specific object from their daily life and create several artworks relating concepts from the object into them in order to practice gratitude and awareness for the things they interact with. This is a unit plan that spans four lessons.

This unit plan was taught to a class of ~30 4th grade students at a local elementary school. Some of their artwork for the final project is shown below.
